To ensure that your wishes to be an organ and/or tissue donor are followed through:
Think about it
Talk about it with loved ones. Your next-of-kin is the person who will be asked to sign the required consent
Sign the organ and tissue donor card in the presence of a witness. This is not legally binding, but does indicate to your family your wishes. The back of your Alberta Health Care card is Alberta’s donor card.
